What it is
A non-essential amino acid that converts to L-arginine in the kidneys, raising plasma arginine more effectively than oral arginine itself.
Why we use it
Human research has consistently used 3000-8000mg doses to demonstrate plasma arginine elevation, nitric oxide modulation, and exercise performance support. Most consumer products use 500-1500mg — too low to match the research.
What to expect
Acute vascular effects within 60-90 minutes. Performance support builds over a week of consistent dosing.
